Growing up in Nowhere Delaware, I did enjoy my fair share of cheap crab legs. I mean they were fresh, they had a great selection of claws and legs. Here in my small Midwest town outside of Saint Louis, I get some frozen and slightly rubbery crabs legs and I still pay for them and treat them like the kickass dinners I used to enjoy where I grew up. We would sit around huge wooden tables and drink beer (I mean, soda…) and eat crabs for hours! Sometimes it feels good to take a trip back to that for a night sometimes.
I encourage anyone reading to do the same. Share a story about how you occasionally treat yourself to an old-school dinner you liked when you were a kid.
