What’s going on Trainwrecks? It’s been a little while since I’ve posted but we are back! I’ve recently taken a hiatus from most things I enjoy to focus entirely on the hardest college class I have ever taken. I began Advanced Quantitative Reasoning and Analysis (Statistics), listening to my Psychiatrist and understanding realistically I would most likely have to repeat the class.

My brain injury has introduced some challenges but I worked my but off and got some help from a friend who was there when I was getting overwhelmed. She pulled me through. Thanks B. It’s crazy how people we cross paths with can have such an effect when we least expect it.

Recently, I crossed paths with another professional. A member of the same deployment unit we once served in has released a Youtube video that discusses many of the topics I am trying to share with the world as well. I wasn’t quite prepared for the familiar images and the haunting memories that echoed in my brain.

DEPLOYABLE, by Jordan Silva was another kick in the butt to keep moving for me. A welcome reality check. I have come to accept this is who I am and in order to keep moving forward, I must continue processing the past. I finally realize why many things went the way they did once my world went off the rails.
